Last week we started the teaching on being a practical christian and we are continuing it today.
Anything we do must bring glory to God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 and we should keep this in mind because we are ambassadors for God. As a practical Christian, we will know that God is Sovereign and he knows all about you. A true Christian will give thanks to God regardless of the situation 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Everything will work for good to those who worship the Lord, we should not condemn or doubt God but we should keep faith and keep firm because there is nothing God does without reason.
Whatever you are going through there is a purpose and God wants us to learn how to thank him.
Have you thanked God? What do you thank God for? God has a reason for saving you and as the song goes 'Count your blessings name them one by one', you have to count your blessings and see what the Lord has done.
Thankfulness is the key to unlocking God's work in our lives and as a practical Christian we should be living witnesses of God's glory.
A practical Christian will be totally devoted to God. A practical Christian will not have received love but true love "Agape Love" As a Christian we should be transformed. As Christians we have been made righteous (set apart) for God.
People have problems today due to what they have not let go before coming a Christian.
A practical Christian will demonstrate self-control. You have tests through people that may challenge you and test your endurance. Keep in mind Colossians 3:17
